The American Dream is No Longer:
The Decline of Rags to Riches

With the educational reversion of our children and an ever growing gap in the opportunities to transcend your social class, the probability of the lower income, underprivileged, yet hard working American, of succeeding is declining.  We will see fewer exceptions, fewer Donald Trumps, J.K. Rowlings, Barbra Corcorans, and even fewer Ben Carson stories.
Yes these are exceptions to the rule, but we are entering an era where only the elite will be able to keep up, let alone exceed expectations.

In the modern free world, we are reverting back to the days where Lords, Graces, and their children are the only people who have the slightest chance of reaching their highest potential.  Do not misunderstand, this is not about the slackers being able to push their way through,
It is about being damned before you even start; starting 4 feet behind the starting line as the distance only increases.

What can be done and what should be done?

As it stands, there just aren't enough people who understand how the pieces of the puzzle that is society, fit together.

"When the economy recovers, you’ll still see all these problems persisting for reasons that have nothing to do with money and everything to do with culture,” he said.

If you aren't going to help solve the problem or recognize that there is one, you better make sure you and yours land on the better side of the fence.
